ISOFLEX 7172

LOW-RANGE SUPERPLASTICIZER

DESCRIPTION

ISOFLEX 7172 is a Polycarboxylate-based superplasticizer specially designed to produce concrete with extended slump retention and strength development of normal grade concrete mixes. Suitable for use in hot climatic conditions.

ADVANTAGES

Improved cohesion and particle dispersion minimize segregation and bleeding and improves pumpability. Water reduction significantly improves compressive strength and enhance durability through the production low permeability concrete. Does not contain chlorides or other steel corrosion promoting ingredients.

USES

  • To provide slump retention properties even at low water cement ratio.
  • To improve the workability of site mixed concrete without increasing water demand.
  • To improve durability and reducing concrete permeability

COMPATIBILITY

ISOFLEX 7172 is compatible with other CEMEX admixtures used in the same concrete mix. All admixtures should be added to the concrete separately and must not be premixed together prior to addition. ISOFLEX 7172 is suitable for use with all type of Portland cements and cement replacement material such as GGBS, Fly Ash, Microsilica.

TECHNICAL PROPERTIES

STANDARD COMPLIANCE: BS EN 934-2 and ASTM C494 as Type D & G depending on dosage.

DOSAGE

Recommended dosage is 0.5 – 2.4% by weight of cementitious material including GGBS,Fly Ash, Microsilica . higher dosage by weight binder can be use depending on the mix design. Trail mix must be performing to establish the exact dosage require.

DISPENSING

The correct quantity of ISOFLEX 7172 should be measured by means of a recommended dispenser. ISOFLEX 7172 should be dispense into the concrete mixer together with mixing water.
