HYDRATED LIME

Hydrated lime, also known as calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2), is a chemical compound primarily composed of hydrated calcium oxide. It is obtained by adding water to quicklime (calcium oxide), resulting in a chemical reaction that forms calcium hydroxide. This process is called “slaking,” where quicklime reacts with water to produce hydrated lime.
